BSO: Orchestral Favourites from Seasonal Classics brings the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra to Lighthouse in Poole on 4 December 2026 for an evening of festive music. Christmas movie scores sit alongside seasonal classics in the programme, played by a full orchestra as the town enters the run-up to Christmas.
What to expect
Written to fill a hall, film scores and seasonal favourites take on a fresh sense of scale and warmth when a full symphony orchestra performs them live. The orchestra confirms the exact running order closer to the date, so check the venue's official listing for current details on the programme and timings.
Planning your visit
As Poole's arts centre, Lighthouse sits a short distance from the town centre, the quay and a good range of places to eat before the show. Its concert hall has long been a home for orchestral music on the south coast, making it a fitting setting for a festive evening. Book through the venue's official listing, which also holds the most current times, prices and ticket information.
