Bubble Tea Party is a small independent bubble tea shop inside the Burlington Arcade, just off Old Christchurch Road in the centre of Bournemouth. A family has run it since it opened in 2021, and its flavoured teas, made to order and served with a warm welcome, have earned it loyal customers and a steady stream of five-star Tripadvisor reviews.
The drinks
Bubble and milk teas are the mainstay, and brown sugar tapioca milk tea and matcha milk tea are two of the most requested, together with fruit teas such as mango & passion fruit and a mango milk tea. The shop also does soft serve ice cream and coffee for anyone after a treat other than tea. Flavours and specials shift from time to time, as they do at any small independent shop, so ask at the counter about what is available on the day.
Finding it
You will find the shop in the Burlington Arcade, beside the Tomodachi Ten anime shop, right in the middle of Bournemouth town centre. There are two ways into the arcade, from Old Christchurch Road by Card Factory and from St Peter's Road by the bus stop, so it is a simple stop during a shopping trip or a wander round the centre.
Good to know
Bubble Tea Party usually opens at about midday and closes in the early evening, and Thursday is normally its day off; hours at small independent shops do move about, though, so it is worth checking first. If you would rather not go out, the shop delivers across Bournemouth through Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
