Enzo's is a family-owned deli, café and bar on Southbourne's high street, sitting right beside Boots and roughly half a mile from Pokesdown train station. One of the newer arrivals on the parade, it works as a daytime café with a small bar attached, centred on a deli counter and a menu of home-cooked café staples.
On the menu
Until noon the breakfast menu runs: eggs on toasted sourdough, a full English or its vegetarian equivalent, or lighter plates such as Greek yoghurt with granola and honey. From lunchtime the choice moves on to sandwiches and paninis, jacket potatoes, a ploughman's and homemade lasagne, along with a deli salad bar you assemble yourself, adding extras such as falafel, chicken or salmon. On the sweet side there are cakes, pastries and fresh scones served with clotted cream, plus specialty coffee, teas and smoothies to drink.
Café by day, bar as well
As well as the café menu, Enzo's runs a small bar stocked with craft beers, premium lagers, wines, prosecco and cocktails, handy when a quick coffee stretches into a longer sit. Vegetarian dishes are flagged across the menu, and the staff can talk you through vegan and allergy requirements.
Worth knowing
At its latest food hygiene inspection in August 2025, Enzo's was rated "Good" in every category: food handling, cleanliness and the management of safety. Because it's a daytime business, hours shift slightly from one day to the next, so check the website or the Facebook and Instagram accounts (@enzosobo) before you make a dedicated trip.
