Inn In The Park stands on Pinewood Road in Branksome Park, amid the leafy streets between Westbourne and Sandbanks, within easy walking distance of the beach and chine at Branksome. It functions as three things together: a genuine local pub, an all-day dining room and a small inn with five en-suite rooms, giving you a straightforward way to pair a night on this stretch of coast with a meal and a drink, without the need for a full hotel booking.
Food and drink
The kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, alongside a dedicated Sunday menu, a sandwich menu and a children's menu for families. Where possible, produce is sourced locally, and full allergen information can be requested by guests managing dietary needs. Coffee and breakfast begin at 10am, food service continues across lunch and dinner sittings, and the bar remains open until 11pm.
Monday night jazz
The pub's signature fixture is its Monday evening jazz session, running from 8 to 10pm with a different local act appearing most weeks. Previous nights have featured saxophone trios, guitar-led groups and singers with roots in bands such as The Puppini Sisters. Regulars booking ahead can request a table near the music or a quieter spot elsewhere, and reserving in advance is worthwhile if you want a particular position.
Rooms
Upstairs, five en-suite rooms span Standard Double through to Superior and Deluxe, each equipped with a flat-screen TV and ironing facilities, with breakfast included. Standard Doubles allow one dog per room for a small extra fee; Superior and Deluxe rooms remain dog-free.
