Information we collect
We collect very little. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to act on your enquiry or correction. We do not sell or share it.
If you join as a member, we store the name and email address you give us so you can sign in and see your enquiries. If you send a booking enquiry from a property page, we store the details you enter so the team can answer it. If you claim a business listing, we store your contact details and the changes you suggest so an editor can review them.
Cookies and analytics
The guide uses a first-party, cookie-free measurement of how pages are used (which pages are read, how far people scroll, what they click) so we can make it better. If you accept the cookie banner, one first-party cookie joins your visits together; if you decline, your visits are counted with a daily-rotating anonymous hash that cannot identify you. Signed-in members and business owners carry a session cookie so they stay signed in. Where Google Analytics is enabled, it only runs once you have accepted the banner.
